The government is not biased one way or the other in defining a domestic violent extremist. Source of the below is Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
“The FBI and DHS define a Domestic Violent Extremist (DVE) as an individual based and operating primarily within the United States or its territories without direction or inspiration from a foreign terrorist group or other foreign power who seeks to further political or social goals wholly or in part through unlawful acts of force or violence.”
“The mere advocacy of political or social positions, political activism, use of strong rhetoric, or generalized philosophic embrace of violent tactics may not constitute extremism, and may be constitutionally protected.”
Who wants you to hate the government?
Who wants you to think that the government is out to get you?
Who wants to demonize your beliefs for their own reasons and then claim the government is responsible?
The fact that we even have to ask these questions is precisely why the government has defined misinformation, disinformation and mal-information as prime threats to national security.
It is not that you can’t do your own research.
It is that the bad guys and ladies hide behind the government’s skirt so to speak and assume an authoritative voice when flat-out lying to you.
We may not be a perfect Nation, but we are a great one, and the greatest system of government on Earth.
Get educated and fight for accountability.
